The day that we’ve been waiting for has finally come. The K-Pop boy band Super Junior performed at the Araneta Coliseum. The iDate players who won the Super Junior tickets were so lucky to have watched the show with us. GM Avi and I came early at the venue and as expected of the ELF (everlasting friends) fans. They’re all lined-up at the Big Dome to watch the performance of their K-pop idols.
The place is full of screaming fanboys and fangirls. We were given free SuJu stuffs by the ELF. The concert opened-up with Donghae being lifted at the center stage by cables. That started the never-ending scream of the crowd. It was so deafening! You could hardly hear each other out.
The 10 members of the Super Junior who performed at the Araneta Coliseum are Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Sungmin, Siwon, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Ryeowook and Kyuhyu. They sang their hit songs such as “Sorry Sorry,” “Bonamana,” “Twins,” “U,” “A Man in Love,” “No Other,” “Hate You Love You” and “In My Dream.”
Heechul made a parody of Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” wearing tight-fitting mini black dress and a blonde wig. While the other members, Donghae, Eunhyuk and Shindong carry out Beyonce’s “Single Ladies”.
The fans lighted the Big Dome with sapphire blue, SuJu’s official color, as they screamed, cheered and waved their banners singing the songs the k-pop band performed. Super Junior described the Philippine fans as the “loudest” amongst their fans worldwide. They will certainly comeback for another performance.
